  Our experience with Home Evolution was seamless.   The project started because we had some wind damage to the top ridge of our old roof and we called a few roofers.  Home Evolution came over the next day.  We discovered several age related issues with our roof including areas of plywood rot and leaks.
Within 3 weeks we had a new roof on our house.  We are thankful we acted when we did as the summer was plenty wet and I was amazed the poor condition our roof was in.
The crew and the lead manager for the job could not have been more professional.

They replaced my roof on my house, and my addition with a proper flat roof EPDM, but also repaired my chimney.   Instead of just checking out the roof and handing me an estimate like the others,  Home Evolutions checked out the roof, then sat down with me for 20 minutes to discuss in detail what they would be doing, complete with photos, as well as samples of the materials they use. Home Evolution Roofing was extremely easy to deal with - from the estimate to the removal/installation and even... afterwards (they set up an appointment and came out to inspect the roof a couple years after to make sure everything was still in great shape and make sure no nails had popped up or anything). We had our roof replaced in 2020 so we’ve had the new roof on for about four years and have had no problems or leaks since then, which is why I always recommend Home Evolution to friends and family who are considering a roof replacement.When the estimator came out, he gave us an estimate for a basic roof replacement, which included the less expensive shingles and the standard underlayment. We opted for the upgraded shingles, underlayment, and ice and rain barrier. We also have three skylights, which were leaking (because that’s what they do). The estimator said they only use Velux skylights - which were highly recommended to us by a friend who also had skylights and noted that Velux were the only skylights he had ever had that didn’t leak - so we were happy to hear that Home Evolution used them and quality products, generally. Because our roof had been leaking for a bit, we had some rot so they replaced much of the structural wood around the chimney and in another area of the roof. They did a great job on that.The work crew showed up early and set up tarps to make sure they caught all the shingles, nails, and debris they removed from the roof. Then they got to work with the above-mentioned structural repairs and the skylight work. We have a 3,000 SqFt ranch style home so it’s a big roof and their crew was able to get everything done in one day - removal, repairs, and full replacement of the drip edges, ice and rain guard, underlayment, shingles, skylights and chimney flashing - all in one day. I was very impressed with this company. They were very easy to work with, they did what they said they would - when they said they would. They checked in with us to make sure everything was good and to make sure that we were happy with their work. I feel like most companies would just do the job and hope they never hear from you again - not the case with these guys. With regard to the cost, they were one of the more expensive estimates we received but for what we got it was and the quality of work they did, it was totally worth it. I had made several calls to local roofing contractors who had agreed to evaluate my leaking roof, scheduled... appointments, yet never showed, nor called to reschedule. I highly recommend home evolution for your roof replacement or repair. From their first trip to our house to examine... our roof. They did a very very thorough job and took pictures of everything they saw on their inspection. Leading up to the roof being replaced There is great communication and what to expect. The installers are very professional And cleaned up our property following the insulation of our new shingles. About 18 months after our installation we had a leak in our upstairs bathroom Ceiling that had stained the ceiling. They came out and examined the roof from the outside and from the attic Fixed it. In addition, they came out one additional time and fixed how the shingles rested on our seamless gutters. They go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied before you sign with them During the installation and even after the installation. Vinny gave us a quick estimate and was helpful through the whole process of obtaining financing and any changes that... needed to be made. Made an additional trip here, as I had questions about the integrity of the chimney. The office staff was friendly, took my calls quickly and answered all my questions. The crew came in, got right to work and even helped me salvage a few pieces of slate and some plywood pieces that would have ended up in the trash. Dimitri the foreman was super helpful answering any questions I had during the install. The crew was super efficient and left the property spotless. Even better than what it was before they started! 4.7 stars. Home Evolution was great to work with, very professional. They did a full roof replacement project for us... this week. Gabe and his crew did a great job. They were very polite, answered questions or concerns that came up, and left me with a beautiful new roof. Only a few small reasons for it not being 5 stars. I wish the sales person who first did the estimate would have insisted in going up in the attic/crawlspace to look at the wood quality we had to estimate how much roofing boards needed to be replaced. He said the "worst he'd seen" was 14-15 sheets of wood needing to be replaced. We ultimately needed approx 40 sheets due to rot and age of the old roof which drove up the cost quite a bit unexpectedly. This isn't a negative on Home Evolution as we would have had to replace the wood anyway , but would have been good to budget for in advance. Additionally the crew finished their cleanup in the dark and ran a magnet around the house several times. The next morning I ran a large magnet I happened to have around the house and picked up over 100+ nails in just a few passes. Not a big deal, but glad I decided to do so. Note, the foreman DID say before they left if we find any debris or anything they missed to call and they would send someone out to fix the situation. Overall VERY happy with their work and I would recommend. Their price was lower than several local competitors.read more

He explained what should be done and what products to use. Anthony was the foreman and made sure the job went smoothly. The team showed up bright and early at 715am ready to work. They even asked to make sure that no one would still be... sleeping or that the noises they would make would not bother any occupants in our home. We have a 1400 square foot single level home and they were done and cleaning up the mess by 130pm. Everyone was very nice and polite, especially the Forman. Final price for the roof was much lower than the estimated price. They went above and beyond just replacing shingles. They replaced a plywood section that looked like it was possibly bad, replaced the metal water and ice barriers in the valleys of the roof, and all new trim pieces along the edge. They ran huge magnets across the lawn and driveway to ensure no nails were left behind. I am very satisfied with the result and HIGHLY recommend them for anyone's roof.read more

Home Evolution just completed installing a new roof for us on 8/26/2022. They also replaced 3 old skylights and removed... old solar panels. They did an excellent job on everything. All completed in 1 day. They did exceptional clean up as well. They even used a magnetic roller to pick up any loose nails. When they left we were just left with our beautiful new roof. All debris was gone and yard was put back in order. The team they sent were great. The foreman at the job was Andrew and his partner was Eric. I would highly recommend Home Evolution!I received quotes from the top roofers in the Capital District all were... offering similar Roof Systems, 10-to-30-year warranties and the pricing was all within the same range.Scope of Work: New Asphalt Roof, minor gutter work, extend ventilation duct and chimney work.The big reason I went with Home Evolution was because they managed and coordinated everything. Home Evolution has several trades under one roof (no pun intended) so I did not have to research, hire, coordinate install around the new roof / the weather or pay a mason for the chimney work. Home Evolution took care of everything, which meant one less task for my ‘To Do List’ that alone spoke volumes.The Sales Rep / Estimate Jake was on time, listened to what I wanted to do, did his inspection, and then told what the house needed and did not. Jake reviewed the different systems, warranty options, explained what the Manufacturer will cover, lead time, overall process leading up to install to the install day and then provided two quotes.Andrew the Foreman and his team arrived promptly at 7am and completed by 3pm. They setup protection for landscaping and threw the debris off the back of the house as requested in my initial meeting with Jake. They did an impeccable job cleaning up and the roof looks AMAZING!Victor and his team came a few days later to repair the chimney and all went smoothly. The office staff (Courtney and Leo) who I worked with to setup the initial meeting and the installs were great and communicated everything clearly.Room for improvement: Stop asking female customers if their spouse will be home for the initial meeting. I understand that you want everyone present for the meeting who needs to be so the information can be communicated once. We had a new 50yr roof installed today by today by Home evolution and could not be happier we decided to use them, the... price was about what we envisioned it would cost plus 2 replacement skylights, Ed the sales rep was prompt for our scheduled meeting to go over our needs. He was transparent in what they offered both in price and what products they use. The Crew of 6 showed up on time and went right to work first with protection (I had concerns about the Hudson River along our property being polluted from debris) then removal of the old roof, Dimitri the foreman assigned to our project was engaging and knowledgeable about the project addressed all the hurtles that came up (plywood and 1x roof substrate replacement) without skipping a beat. Home Evolution Roofing is awesome! My wife and I were due for a new roof and we started looking into roofing companies... recommended by friends, family, and neighbors. We received 4 different quotes from 4 different companies. Home Evolution wasn’t the cheapest and not the most expensive but we both felt they offered the best value and quality for a fair price. Alex came to give us a quote and set up the deal and he was thorough, honest, not pushy for a sale. He was easy to work with and gave us a great deal on a new roof for the house and our shed and replaced our gutter guards. The roofing crew was efficient, on time, and delivered a new roof in a day. The foreman Ben was personable and communicated with me every step of the way. Showed me pictures of the progress. Andre arrived two days later to put on the gutter guards, and they were in and out in a couple hours. Andre was very personable as well. Home Evolution came in during a very challenging job. We had a new roof put on by another roofer under a year ago, and... it was not properly installed in the area over our vaulted ceilings. Every time it snowed we got 5-6 cups of water in our living room/dining room. The water was a dark brown color and there was tons of drywall damage, furniture damage, etc. The snow would come in regardless of the temperature outside (we even had a leak in an April Snowstorm!). We had a number of quotes to come in to fix it but Home Evolution understood the problem the best.They were also flexible with the unforeseen issue of molded plywood and wet insulation. What was a simple project of replacing the shingles and underlayment in one section became a complicated multi-day effort to restore the roof and parts of the house. This included new skylights, and new materials that had been damaged when water came into the house. They were thorough, and they were clean. The crew was professional and friendly, and we were really happy with how they were able to resolve unforeseen issues.They were able to document everything for insurance, and were reasonably priced (their estimate came in around the same as the other roofers who quoted the fix, and we did get three quotes, but their solution we hope to be the best).read more

We had some miscommunication regarding scheduling at the beginning which was quickly addressed. Our new roof is... beautiful!!! The team arrived at 7am and worked like a well oiled machine. Everyone was professional and efficient. All were wearing masks until we assured them we had both of our vaccines and they did not need to wear them. Everything was cleaned up when they were finished and they went around the house and garage twice with a special magnet to make sure there were no nails left on the ground. I am satisfied with their service. I've initially got a free estimate from Alex, who was knowledgeable, thorough and... honest. He explained everything about the current roof condition and what need to be done in a way that I can understand. It was very helpful that he gave me several options with their pros and cons. On a separate day, I called them for a quick repair for wind damage on my roof, which they responded right away. After a few days I had another wind damage on the other part of my roof. Very frustrating. But Alex came a couple of hours after I called him and repaired it for free. After getting the runaround from a few other companies, we signed on for a new EPDM roof. From Alex who came when I had a terrible leak into my house and explained to me what happened. He went up on my roof and took a video. Showed me exactly what it was. Explained my options. No pressure. My choice to do what I wanted. I decided to replace the entire roof (24 yrs old). When they came to do the roof they were most cognizant of my property. They came right on time and it took them 10-1/2 hours to complete the job on a very complicated roof. The materials they ordered were exact. The foreman Vadim took great pains to fix the main problem himself while his team worked on the entire roof. He was polite and very professional and caring of my property. They did an excellent job. Each member of his team worked very hard, including 2 women. Never wasted a minute. I am so happy with my roof and feel so much safer with it. Very good experience overall. Igor has been great to work with. He initially quoted the job about a year ago and... followed-up today to make sure everything was still good. The roof did great through the rather strong winds this winter and no leaks. The initial walk through included reviewing a video of the current state of the roof which is a nice touch. We have a rather large and complex, asphalt shingle roof including sky lights and solar panels. It was impressive how quickly their crew tackled prep, removal, and install. Trash management and cleanup was top notch. All work was done in a single, nice weather day which is no small feat considering the complexity of the roof and replacing three skylights. These guys are amazing. We bought our house in September only to be told by our lovely insurance company a month later... that if we didn't replace the roof, they would be terminating our coverage. They gave us 30 days to get it all done. Igor came out to our house, gave us his presentation and quote and promised us that they would get our roof done by our required deadline. Their quote was reasonable and we couldn't be happier that we went with them. There was some rescheduling due to weather, but in the end, they got everything done in two days and the house looks amazing. They showed up at sunrise and didn't stop until the sun went down.
