Home Evolution, along with its partners is honored to present for the second time, the Home Evolution Roof Giveaway Program. This program is called “Roof Giveaway to a Family in Need”, and is available to those individuals in the greater Albany, NY community(within 1 hour radius of Albany) who have fallen on difficult times and cannot afford to replace the roof on their home, or simply an individual who has done a lot for the community and deserves to have a new roof replaced. These individuals cannot be eligible to receive insurance funds to replace the roof.

Roof Giveaway to a Family in Need – This program is neither a contest nor a lottery. It is a way for Home Evolution to give back to the community. The public will be given the chance to nominate themselves, a friend, family member, or acquaintance who is in need of a new roof but cannot afford to have it replaced. The staff at Home Evolution will choose five (5) deserving homeowners in the greater Albany, NY area as nominees for the Roof Giveaway program. These nominees will be chosen solely at the discretion of Home Evolution. These seven nominees will then be posted on the Home Evolution company website and the community will vote to choose one (1) winner to receive the free roof replacement. Please keep in mind that entries will ONLY be accepted through the nominee submission form on the homeevolution.net website.

HOW TO ENTER

You may enter yourself or an individual for the Roof Giveaway to a Family in Need program by filling out the nominee submission found on the Home Evolution website (https://www.homeevolution.net/nominations/). Please keep in mind that partial form submissions will not be accepted. By submitting the nominee submission form, along with the pictures/video for the individual, you are indicating your acceptance of these official rules. All nominations must be submitted in accordance with the dates indicated. No votes will be accepted outside of the Home Evolution website poll voting platform as all voting will be done on the website.

RULES

No Purchase Necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of being nominated, selected or voted upon. Nominations will be accepted starting September 15, 2020 until November 15, 2020. Nominees will be selected during this period and periodically added to the Home Evolution Website. Once all six (6) nominees are chosen, all six nominees will be added to the Home Evolution website by. Voting by the public will begin on November 17, 2020 using a voting platform for entering votes on the Home Evolution website. Voting will commence November 17, 2020 and will end December 15, 2020. The votes will be automatically tallied and on the voting platform and checked by Home Evolution and the Roof Giveaway winner will be announced December 16, 2020. Once the winner is chosen, a time for the roof installation will be chosen by Home Evolution and the winner of the Roof Giveaway for Spring of 2021. Once a mutual time is scheduled, the roof will be installed.

It is understood that the businesses participating in this giveaway are doing so in good faith and with the hopes that the community will receive this giveaway in good will.

The roof giveaway winner must be 18 years of age or older.
Nominees must be located within the greater Albany area(within 1 hour radius of Albany)
The Roof Giveaway winner must own their home.
The Roof Giveaway winner must be current on their mortgage payments and have no existing leins on the home.
The current roof type must be asphalt shingles and no larger than 25 squares or 2,500 square feet.
The Roof Giveaway winner must not be eligible for an insurance claim.
The Roof Giveaway winner must agree to sign the Home Evolution media release form.

Media & Publicity Release Form

I understand that, during the course of my participation in the “Roof Giveaway for a Family in Need” Program, Home Evolution and those acting with the permission or authority of the “Roof Giveaway for a Family in Need”, may capture and use my name, likeness, image, or voice in photographic prints, audio, video, or digital, or other forms(“media”). I recognize that all media, including film, photographic prints, audio, video, or digital files, including those photos and video submitted with my nomination, become the exclusive property of “Roof Giveaway for a Family in Need”. In addition, I hereby permit “Roof Giveaway to a Family in Need” and those acting with “Roof Giveaway for a Family in Need” permission or authority, to use my name and Media in materials available to existing and potential customers, staff and individuals within the community, including in publicity or promotional materials for “Roof Giveaway for a Family in Need”. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve: (a) the finished Media, (b) any printed matter that may be used in conjunction with the Media, or (c) the eventual use to which the Media may be applied. i waive all right to compensation, royalties and damages, including claims in tort, defamation, right to privacy or right to publicity claims. I sign this authorization and release on behalf of myself and all my minor children who may be participation in “Roof Giveaway for a Family in Need”.

This agreement constitutes the sole, complete, and exclusive agreement regarding the Media, and I am not relying on any other representation , wether oral or written.

Selection of the Winner

Six(6) nominees will be announced in accordance with the dates above. Final nominees will be determined by Home Evolution by December 17, 2020. If a nominee has been nominated by a third party, said final nominees will be required to accept the terms set in this document or will forfeit their position and a new finalist will be selected.

The Gift

Home Evolution Contractor LLC, along with IKO will supply and install a

up to 25 squares(2,500 square feet). Other vendors may offer other products and services. This page will be updated should any giveaways or products be added. The approximate retail value of this gift is between $9,000-$12,000 depending on the size of the house and necessary preliminary labor.

Odds of being selected will vary depending upon the number and content of the eligible entries received. All gifts will be awarded(assuming a sufficient number of eligible entries are received and, after reasonable attempts, recipients are verified). The selected recipient of this giveaway may not substitute, assign, or transfer any gift for money, except the sole discretion of sponsors. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to substitute any gift with one of equal or greater value. Limit of one roof system per person/household for the entire promotion period.

SELECTION OF WINNER/INSTALL DATE:

Six (6) semi-finalists, or nominees will be announced in accordance with the dates listed above in the “Rules” section. Semifinalists, or nominees will be determined by the staff at Home Evolution Contractor LLC and its sponsors by November 17, 2020. If a nominee has been nominated by a third party, said nominees will be required to accept the terms set in this document or forfeit their position and a new nominee will be selected. The winner of the “Roof Giveaway to a Family in Need” will be selected and announced on or before December 16, 2020 after the staff tallies and reviews all votes. If the staff deems that there have been fraudulent votes cast by unqualified persons or accounts, they reserve the right to choose another nominee as the winner. ONLY VOTES FROM VALID SOURCES THAT ARE BASED IN THE UNITED STATES WILL BE COUNTED. ACCOUNTS WITH LITTLE OR NO INFORMATION OR DEEMED TO BE SUSPICIOUS WILL NOT BE COUNTED. The winner of the “Roof Giveaway to a Family in Need” will be announced on or around December 16, 2020 in accordance with media availability and the winner shall be given 72 hours to select their roof shingle color. Roof installation will be scheduled to be installed/delivered before June 1, 2021(weather permitting) or at the mutual agreement of the winner and Home Evolution and not beyond June 1, 2021.

ENTRANTS UNDERSTAND THAT BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, THEY ARE PERMITTING HOME EVOLUTION AND ITS SPONSORS TO COME ON THEIR PROPERTY FOR ASSESSMENT THEREOF. BY ENTERING IN THE CONTEST, ENTRANTS GIVE RIGHT TO THE SPONSOR TO PUBLISH A PHOTO/ VIDEO OF THEIR PROPERTY WITH THEIR STORY ON WWW.HOMEEVOLUTION.NET AS WELL AS OTHER MEDIA SOURCES USED TO PROMOTE THE PROGRAM.
